Venom's Revenge by MortalSwordsman.

To follow up on his Spiderman figure, MortalSwordsman has built an incredible Venom. This guy is gigantic! He stands several inches taller than Spiderman and is almost as cool. Sorry, but I really like Spidey.

The Justice League of America by John Fink

I know, usually I post Marvel stuff, and I do prefer Marvel over DC, but these guys are great.

AB-1 Brute by M2com McKinney

Nice bike design! I always love bikes. The detail M2com was able to pack into this is insane.

War Games - Ruined Building by Jack Riverpout

Small, but sweet. Or is that short but sweet? Who cares!? All I know, is that MOCs don't have to be big, and builders don't have to be popular to get good MOCs. This is great!

Greffen Bridge by Z Cerberus

Most bridge towers look the same. But this one by Z Cerberus is not one of those.
Plus, check out the drawbridge in front.

LCC- Loreos, A Struggle in the Swamp by Mark Erickson

Nice trees! Great trees aren't easy to make. It takes hard work to get it looking right. And Mark Erickson got it right.
All of Mark's Loreos MOCs are amazing!

Brickworld 2012 Guided Tour

No, I didn't go to Brickworld. But Nannan Zang did. And he kindly filmed a 45 minute video with Chris Malloy for all of us who couldn't make it.
Brickworld looked like a ton of fun. And there were tons of great builders, with tons of great MOCs.
This really is a must watch, all 45 minutes of it. So as Nannan says, "Grab some snacks and enjoy!"

Deadpool-Marvel Legends Scale by M McCooey

Check him out! This guy is incredible! And this is M McCooey's first Mocpages creation.
This is one amazing figure! The detail in his arms, torso, legs, and everything is just crazy!

(Bruiser Tactical by Nannan Zhang)

Yes Please.
I saw the thumbnail and thought....Nannan Zhang? Yep Nannan is an absolute wizard at building cool looking MOCs and this big boy was no exception. I love the treads, and the cockpit I mean that rock raiders grinding thing is wicked awesome here.

Spiderman by Mortal Swordsman

There goes a Spiderman... This is one terrific Spidy. Is it possible to get better positioning with bricks? And check out his six-pack.

Happy Father's Day by T. Lars

*Gasp* Is that a non LEGO piece in a MOC? Yeah, so what? Who cares?! Without it the MOC would be nothing.
I really like the positioning of the little robot. The cap is a great touch.
As it is Father's Day, I found it fitting that I post a MOC celebrating just that. (Is that obvious or what?)

The Power of Freedom Iraq by Mike Doyle

I'm not entirely sure on the backstory here, but this beautiful MOC by Mike Doyle, the creator of freaky/beautiful houses, has made something too beautiful to leave un-blogged. How many times can one say beautiful? As many times as is needed when it comes to beautiful MOCs.

Machu Picchu by Matija Grguric

Matija has done it again! Seriously, how many architecture models can one pull off in such an amazing way!? The amount of small bricks in this makes me feel like a raided a LEGO store. Maybe he did...
Incredible job Matija! When you read this, pat yourself on the back.

GAIA - HMS 'Fury' by Parrington Levens

This mammoth ship by Parrington Levens is something you should want to see. Measuring 225 studs long (do the math people), this ship is giganticous.
Leave a comment telling me how long 225 studs is. I already know, but do you?

LEGO Minifigures Series 8 Pirate Captain

As of now, a sneak peek of the upcoming series 8 Minifigure Pirate Captain is appearing on pretty much every LEGO news site. This series will be out in September. I wonder why LEGO has waited so long to release this series.
The picture looks like it is one of many, as you can see the beginning of another fig below. Is that a katana I see? it might be. Maybe a female ninja. That would be cool.
Is this color really gonna be green? I hope not. What happened to black?

LEGO CUUSOO: Star Wars Dark Bucket Rejected

While I do wish I could say that, I can't. This had it coming. LEGO already said they couldn't make it. I was more surprised by how long it took to archive it.

LEGO said in their official comment:

Decision on Our Ability to Produce this Project

2012.06.08
First and foremost, huge congratulations to haru for reaching 10,000 supporters on LEGO CUUSOO, and toward everyone for all of the support of the Star Wars Dark Bucket project!

LEGO Star Wars is very popular, and we're well aware that many people want to amass large armies of Star Wars minifigures. Our team has done our due diligence, and due to our license we will not release a collection consisting almost entirely of minifigures. Since the 10,000 supporters came for this specific concept, we will not alter the project in the review. Therefore we will not consider the Star Wars Dark Bucket further for production. We're sorry to be the bearers of this disappointing news.

The challenge with allowing IP-related projects on LEGO CUUSOO is that there is the potential of a license conflict, either with an existing license or with a competitive licensor. Still, it's our view that it is better to be open and allow for possibilities, knowing there will be "no" answers along the way, than shut out the potential of IP-based products altogether.

Since we already knew the answer in this case, we decided to share the news now rather than wait until the Fall LEGO Review under which this project would qualify. Opening ourselves to new product suggestions invites popular ideas that don't always work. We are grateful for the spirit behind projects like the Star Wars Dark Bucket and for the opportunity to be challenged. It keeps us sharp and looking toward the future of the LEGO brick.

The LEGO CUUSOO Team

They did what they had too. I can't blame them.

Petranaki Arena by AC Pin

After a very long, well worth it wait, AC Pin has finally released his Petranaki Arena. Also known as the Geonosion Arena from Attack Of The Clones.
This model is GIGANTEOUS! The amount of work that must have gone into this is breathtaking.
AC Pin really hit a home-run (Yet another baseball reference).

Check out the awesomeness on Mocpages.

LEGO CUUSOO: Star Wars Dark Bucket Reaches 10,000 Supporters

But how long until it is archived? I've already given my opinion on this project. So I won't talk too much about it. Let's just say this: If LEGO were to make it, I would get it in a heartbeat.

Star Wars Relativity V2 by Paul Vermeesch

Paul has hit it out of the park again! (Did you notice that this is the second post in a row to have a baseball reference?) If you thought "Relativity" was confusing, think again! Every time I try to figure this out my mind goes crazy. Check out Luke's lightsaber falling by itself, or is it...

LEGO CUUSOO: My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic Archived

The always popular My Little Pony project on CUUSOO has been archived. LEGO knew right off the bat that it wouldn't work. They just waited this long to cancel it. The final number of supporters for this project reached 7,720, not even close to the 10,000 mark. LEGO obviously knew what they were doing.

This is a little/very small/tiny/teeny disappointment for me. Even though I am not a fan of MLP, the horse design really was cool. When I first viewed this project, I was laughing all the way, the design is so clever. But, if it doesn't fit within the guidelines, it doesn't fit. Can't be helped.

My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic on LEGO CUUSOO.

In the archive statement, the LEGO CUUSOO team said this:

Decision on the IP's fit with the LEGO Brand

2012.06.04
First and foremost, congratulations to Addam for gaining so many supporters for this very well done concept on LEGO CUUSOO. The work you have put into the concepts for potential LEGO renditions of My Little Pony figures and playsets is outstanding.

We know My Little Pony is very popular, and these concepts would make great products. Our team has done our due diligence. Since the property is owned by Hasbro we've decided it’s neither a brand fit nor a strategic fit for the LEGO Group to pursue a My Little Pony license, and so we will not consider My Little Pony projects on LEGO CUUSOO further. We see how enthusiastic and hopeful MLP fans are at the possibility of a LEGO line and are sorry to be the bearers of this disappointing news.

Since LEGO CUUSOO opens us to new product suggestions, naturally people will suggest concepts that aren’t a strategic fit. We are grateful for the spirit behind projects like the My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic project. It keeps us sharp and looking toward the future of the LEGO brick.

Other CUUSOO News: The EVE Online Ships - Rifter was chosen as the quarterly project to be reviewed by LEGO. Don't know what the quarterly review is? Click here.
Also, the Star Wars Dark Bucket is nearing its finish. LEGO has already said that they can't produce this. So farewell Dark Bucket. If you had added a small structure you would be fine. See it by clicking here.

Masashi Togami - Team BTTF

Masashi Togami, creator of the Back To The Future DeLorean Time Machine on LEGO CUUSOO, has created Team BTTF. They are trying to create a BTTF LEGO theme through LEGO CUUSOO.
After the success of their first project, Team BTTF made two other BTTF models: Hill Valley Courthouse, and UCS DeLorean Time Machine.

Masashi has put an amazing amount of work into these projects. You don't have to be a fan of BTTF to like these. You just need to be a LEGO fan that realizes what an insane amount of work it can take to get these models right. And Team BTTF has done an excellent job.

LEGO The Lord Of The Rings Video Game Trailer

As of now, all arguments have subsided over whether we would get a LEGO LOTR video game. In the back of the set instruction manuals there was a poster advertising it. Some still had doubts. But doubt no more! The LEGO The Lord Of The Rings video game trailer is officially out! Of course, one of the coolest parts is that the characters now have voices. Now it's time for some "You shall not pass!".

Check out this epic trailer. The graphics look really good. I am so excited about this one. LEGO video games have become pretty lame over the past few years, but this one looks like it will be one of the best.
Leave a comment telling me what you think about it.

The poll of May is officially ended. It was a close race all the way. The heroes of the Monster Fighters theme collected votes from all over the internet. In the end, two final heroes tied for first place.
The winners of the Favorite LEGO Monster Fighters' Monster Fighters May poll are... Rodney Rathbone, and Frank Rock.
Thanks for voting on the May poll! Now it's my favorite month of the year: June.
