Legends of Brickdom Challenge Part 1 - Uncovering Answers by K.Kreations

K.Kreations built this MOC for the Legends of Brickdom challenge. I haven't seen any of the other entries, but I should think he has a pretty good chance with this creation.
I love the SNOT rocks. It must have taken some serious skill and patience to get it so right. I can imagine there were some head-scratching moments while building this.
Overall a very nice creation. I can't wait to see more from this builder.

What do you think about Series 11? Does it live up to your expectations? Or are you done with CMF?

LEGO The Hobbit Laketown Chase Revealed at SDCC

Comic Con is back again (I feel like it just ended) and LEGO has revealed the latest set in The Hobbit line: Laketown Chase. 334 pcs. 5 minifigures. $49.99.
I'm gonna be honest, I'm very disappointed in this set. LEGO had a chance to build some spectacular buildings and they threw it away. And they placea ridiculous price tag on the set to make it all the more painful.
The only reason I would even consider getting this set is for the minifigures. They appear to be Bilbo, Thorin, Bard, the Master of Laketown, and a Laketown Guard. But there's no way I'm gonna dish out $50 for a couple of minifigures.
I'm sorry LEGO, you make great sets, but in my opinion you really struck out on this one.

Dragonfly by Gabe Umland

This Dragonfly has everything it needs. I love olive-green, and this creation puts it to great use.
I had the pleasure of meeting Gabe and seeing this MOC at BrickFair New England. It was definitely one of the highlights of the trip, hanging out with Gabe, that is, not seeing the Dragonfly. Though that was quite cool too.

The Night Market Below by Ru Corder

Ru Corder delivers yet again with this wonderful abandoned subway! Love the sloping ceiling. and all the characters are great.

I do realize that it is July 9th and this is my first post of the month. I'm sorry for that. I know I apologize for not posting more times than I actually post. I'll try to spend a little more time on here (yeah right!).
