LEGO 10243 Parisian Restaurant

LEGO's newest installment in the Modular Buildings line is the stunning 10243 Parisian Restaurant. I honestly have no complaints about this set. It's top-quality, and immensely detailed. Check out all the clever uses for parts. Not the least of which are the fangs for the plants. Definitely another winner for LEGO!

Press release below:

10243 Parisian Restaurant
Ages 16+. 2,469 pieces.
Have an unforgettable evening at the amazing Parisian Restaurant!
US $159.99 – CA $189.99 – DE 149.99 € – UK 132.99 £ – DK 1299.00 DKK
It’s very busy in the Parisian Restaurant. As a scooter zips by, inside the waiter rushes between the tables as the nervous young man gets ready to propose with the ring! It’s just as hectic behind the scenes, with the chef busily preparing the food. This beautifully detailed building is the setting for so many stories and is a great addition to the modular building series. The Parisian Restaurant has a fully-stocked, blue and white tiled kitchen with tableware as well as a cozy apartment with pull-down bed, kitchenette and fireplace. On the top floor is the artist’s room with a studio that includes a cast iron heater, easel, paintbrush and two works of art by the aspiring artist. Outside, stairs lead down to the roof terrace lined with hanging lanterns and flowers where the diners eat alfresco-style. This amazing Parisian Restaurant model even includes a facade with croissants, clams and feather details that recapture the feel of Paris. Includes 5 minifigures: chef, waiter, girl and a romantic couple.

10232 Palace Cinema

Brickset has posted an image of the new 10232 Palace Cinema. It is a Creator set, and not a modular. I wonder if it'll be a part of the modular line just under a different name. It sure would look good next to the Town Hall.
No word on release date or price. I'll update when they become available.

LEGO CUUSOO: Modular Western Town Now at 10,000

It's finally done! Modular Western Town has at last reached 10,000 supporters on LEGO CUUSOO!
After two posts of this project on here, and numerous posts elsewhere, it has finally reached 10,000 and made the LEGO review.
This project is probably the best non-licensed project on LEGO CUUSOO, and it really deserves to be made. But now comes the hard part: waiting.
I have no doubt that this project will become a set. It is an excellent continuation of the classic western theme from many years ago. What reason could there possibly be to not make this a set?

Congratulations to everyone that has supported and advertised this! We finally did it!

LEGO CUUSOO: Modular Apple Store

CUUSOO projects can have their fazes, but some are here to make an imprint.
I present for your example, Modular Apple Store. This project was added by Gotoandbuild on CUUSOO and it is definitely something worth supporting. From the i-phones, to the pictures on the walls, even to the trashcan in front, this building packs a punch!

It is currently sitting at 1,406 supporters, but you can bet that this number will raise drastically.

Get over and support it Here.

Modular Western Town Update

A couple of weeks ago, I posted of the LEGO CUUSOO Modular Western Town project. At that time, the project had 2,484 supporters. Now, that number has risen to 4,703. Slowly but surely the number is rising, but we need to keep the supporters coming. So if you haven't supported yet, get over there and support.
Also, you can help by spreading the word of this project.

Modular Western Town | LEGO CUUSOO

LEGO CUUSOO is a website where fans can have their models and ideas made into official LEGO sets. All it takes is 10,000 supporters to get reviewed by LEGO.
There have been many LEGO CUUSOO projects but there is one that is making a considerable splash in the LEGO world: Modular Western Town.

This Project was made by mb_bricks on CUUSOO, and at the moment it has 2,484 of the 10,000 supporters it needs to get a review. So get over there, and check it out!
Edit: As of now it has 4,387 supporters.

New LEGO Modular Building Pet Shop

And there is a new LEGO Modular Building set coming our way very soon. The name of this one is Pet Shop.
It looks pretty cool. Better then I expected the new Modular would look like.
