New DC Super Heroes Set Images

Hot behind the 2014 Star Wars sets the 2014 DC Super Heroes sets have been revealed. As in every wave, Batman is the focus. But who's got a problem with that? After all, he's Batman.
New heroes and new villains in this wave, so make sure you check out all the pictures.

Batman: Arkham Asylum by Kyle Ransom

Check out this cool Arkham Asylum by Kyle Ransom. It's definitely a different take on the building. Most Arkham Asylum builds don't include the surrounding grounds. Something I like about this MOC. Interestingly enough, Mr. Xenomurphy released an Arkham MOC just a week ago. You can check that out here.

See it on Mocpages.

Wollaton Hall A.K.A Wayne's Manor by Jorge Barros

This beautiful and massive MOC is built after the equally beautiful and massive Wollaton Hall, which was used as Wayne Manor in the Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.
Love the stone work on the walkway surrounding the fountain. But the building in itself is really well done. Click the link below to visit the page and read some history about the hall.

See it on Mocpages.

LEGO Batman: The Movie - DC Super Heroes Unite Available

Amazon now has the LEGO Batman: The Movie - DC Super Heroes Unite available, and on sale for $9.99 (regular $19.99). I haven't seen the film, but judging by LEGO's previous films, it should be a fun movie for the kids.
The disc has a total running time of 71 minutes, plus, you get the exclusive Clark Kent minifigure. Can't go wrong here.

Buy it now on Amazon.

LEGO CUUSOO: Batmobile Tumbler Minifig Scale Reaches 10,000

After a long crawl from 9,000 to 10,000 supporters, the Minifig Scale Tumbler has finally made the cut for the next review.
The model was created by Brent Waller in 2008 using LDD. It's a solid model, and hopefully will get the OK for production. LEGO has already released several Tumblers, so the chances for this project are a bit smaller than I hoped they would be, but it shouldn't have a problem.

Two New 2013 Super Heroes Sets

Two more Super Heroes set images have come up. No word on price or piece count.

76004 Spider-Man Cycle Chase
76000 Arctic Batman and Mr. Freeze

Aqua-Man, Venom, and Nick Fury make their LEGO debuts in these two sets. Not to mention Arctic Batman. My guess is a $20-$30 price range.

DC Super Heroes Batman: Arkham Asylum Breakout

Yeah, the Tumbler's cool, but not half as cool as this!

I do wonder how there are that many villains in a prison and only one security guard. Arkham needs to step up their security. No wonder Batman has such a tough job.

LEGO Super Heroes Spider-Man - Daily Bugle Showdown and The Bat vs. Bane - Tumbler Chase

NYCC is just bursting with LEGO goodness. And you thought TMNT was good.
How about Super Heroes Spider-Man - Daily Bugle Showdown with Spidey, Jonah Jameson, Novah, Beetle, and Doctor Doom. Convinced yet?
How about 476 pieces with a $49.99 price tag. Sound good?

I can't wait for this set. Being a big Spider-Man fan myself I am in love. Okay, not really. But the Daily Bugle is a great building. And I think I like it even more after seeing it built out of my favorite toy.

DC fans! Don't leave yet. Check this out!
The Bat vs. Bane - Tumbler Chase with Batman, Bane, and Commissioner Gordon.
368 pieces and $39.99.

I'm not really much of a Batman fan (Spidey is just too cool!) but I do like the look of this. A smaller Tumbler has been wanted by fans for awhile. Though I think this one may be a bit too small.
DC fans, what say you?

New LEGO Marvel and DC Set Info

Images of the 2013 Super Heroes line have been leaked. Unfortunately no Marvel, only DC. And those of you that have been following this blog for a while know that I am partial to Marvel. But Marvel fans fear not! We do have some set listings:

  • 76004 Spider-man - Hunting with Spider-Cycle
  • 76005 Spider-man - Mission at Daily Bugle
  • 76007 Super Heroes: Marvel 4
These are just dripping with possibilities. But you DC fans are probably waiting for your info. Well, there actually isn't any. The only thing to know is if you buy Batman: The Visual Dictionary you will have access to both of these DC images.

Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet. I'm giving up on guessing prices, cause the last few times I guessed I grossly underestimated the prices. Much to my embarrassment.
And of course, above you can see Mr. Freeze riding something. No idea what.

Okay, I lied. There actually is more DC info. So DC fans rejoice!
76000 Arctic Batman vs. Mr. Freeze - Aquaman on Ice
67001 Batman vs. Bane - Chase With Tumbler

Those are your newest leaks from LEGO. Keep coming back in the next few months as we'll be seeing lots more.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Videogame Cover Art

To go with all the LEGO Super Heroes images that have been popping up everywhere for the past couple days, LEGO has released the official cover art for the LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes video game.
Looks pretty cool. I can't wait to see some trailers for this.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes - Announcement Trailer

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is a video game that few will be able to match. Especially with the... did you hear it? These video game characters will have voices. Pretty cool, huh?

I'm not sure when this game will be released. But when it is, you'll be sure to get your own copy.

New DK Books For 2012

LEGO Batman: The Visual Dictionary
LEGO Ninjago: Character Encyclopedia
Ultimate Sticker Collection: LEGO Batman
LEGO Friends: Brickmaster

I don't understand what the big deal is with the character encyclopedias, they have great pictures and all, but most of the information is already known by at least 50% of LEGO fans, and I have found several errors in the information too.
I'm still gonna get them though. After all, they are collectors items.
