For round 5 of the MOCOlympics, Nick Barrett was given the category of forced perspective. Forced Perspective is, as some of you know, using bricks and an odd camera angle to force the audience to believe the MOC is really much deeper than it is. Though in fact the MOC could only be a few inches deep or so, the audience can think it goes on for several feet, or even miles.
Given a task this difficult, I'd say Nick really did an excellent job. Not only is the road decieving in it's length, but the car he built to drive on it is a work of art in itself.
See it on Mocpages.
That is a superbly made MOC! When I first saw the picture I really did think it was several feet long! So I guess it has done it's job! Kind regards, Brian.
