Review: 6869 Quinjet Aerial Battle

 Here you go: The review you've been waiting over two weeks for! Sorry it has taken me so long to get this up. But here it is! Finally.
Before I get any further, I want to give you guys a few heads ups! First, please forgive the photo quality. Photographing a set this big can be a bit of a pain. Second, some of the pieces may look dusty. I want to tell you that it is not dust. It is the middle of pollen season here, and pollen goes everywhere inside and out. And the final heads up is a big one of these babies:

Review: 6865 Captain America's Avenging Cycle

And now for my first ever pictorial review of a LEGO set. I'm not sure how this is gonna go, but let's get on with it.

For this review, I have chosen the new LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Captain America's Avenging Cycle. 

This set is a must have. Not only for the great figures, but because... Just because! The set is surprisingly large for the amount of pieces. The glider, turret and cycle make a pretty good sized heap when grouped together. One of the biggest heaps I have seen for sets this price.

Marvel Super Heroes Sets Available at Shop@Home

Oh joy! The long wait is over! With the arrival of Easter, LEGO Shop@Home has finally released the Marvel Super Heroes sets. This means that if you're planning a trip to the LEGO store, you can pick up some nice little goodies.

Marvel Mini-fig Poster

This poster appears on the back of the Marvel Super Heroes instruction manuals. Take a good look at it. Have you noticed yet? In the top corner is Spiderman, Doc Ock and Iron Fist. These three figs will appear in 8673 Spiderman's Doc Ock Ambush.

This is an excellent rendition of the Avengers movie poster. Probably one of my favorite movie poster renditions in bricks.

Marvel Mini Site Live on LEGO.com

The Marvel mini site is now live on LEGO.com. Not that much to see other than the mini-figs. But that's okay because the mini-figs are amazing!

I am really looking forward to this theme!

New Avengers Set Images

As summer approaches, more and more set images are popping up. We recently saw the Avengers set images because of the NY Toyfair, but we now have more!

Not really anything we didn't already know, except for the Wolverine Chopper Showdown. This set appears to transform from an armored truck into a helicopter. Looks cool!

I don't know about all of you, but this theme is making me very excited! Almost as exciting as the Avengers film coming out in May!

LEGO Super Heroes Now Available at TRU

Yep! The new Marvel Super Heroes sets are available at Toysrus. The prices have been raised, but they aren't that bad considering what the Star Wars sets are marked up to.
