The LEGO Minifigures Character Encyclopedia is available for pre-order from Amazon. The book includes full page pictures of each minifigure from Series 1-10. Plus an exclusive Toy Soldier minifigure. I guess LEGO will be packaging their exclusive minifigures in pieces from now on. Unless it's only something they do when the minifigure has accessories.
Release date is May 1st.
