May Promotions at Shop@Home

LEGO is getting ready for their big May The 4th sale next month. And this year's exclusive minifigure will be a chrome TC-14 Protocol Droid.
This item will be free with any Star Wars purchase of $75 or more from Shop at Home.

To celebrate the release of the Marvel Super Heroes sets later this month, LEGO will be giving away a free Hulk minfigure (A minifigure, not a big lump of plastic with arms) to any order of $50 or more between May 16 and 31.
I do not know if this promotion includes only Marvel orders, or if this will include all LEGO orders.

Thanks to Brick Fanatics for the info.

Poll Closed: Best Marvel Super Heroes Set

Back in early March I put up a poll to find the best Marvel Super Heroes set. The results are now in and the winner is... Captain America's Avenging Cycle.
This set won with 40% of the total vote, and Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout came in a close second with 30%.

Thanks to all who participated in this poll, and there is now a new one up for the month of April: Favorite Collectible Minifigure Series.
Get your vote in, and we'll see the winner at the end of the month.

CUUSOO: The Winchester - Shaun Of The Dead Reaches 10,000 Supporters

And yet another LEGO CUUSOO project reaches 10,000 supporters. The Winchester - Shaun Of The Dead was submitted by Yatkuu less than three months ago. This goes to show how quickly CUUSOO projects can reach 10,00 supporters.
This is just the 4th of hopefully many projects turned into sets.

I think a lot of fans will be excited about this set. Finally we shall receive zombies in large quantities.

Marvel Mini-fig Poster

This poster appears on the back of the Marvel Super Heroes instruction manuals. Take a good look at it. Have you noticed yet? In the top corner is Spiderman, Doc Ock and Iron Fist. These three figs will appear in 8673 Spiderman's Doc Ock Ambush.

Thanks to Sara Hollins on Flickr for the image.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Videogame Cover Art

To go with all the LEGO Super Heroes images that have been popping up everywhere for the past couple days, LEGO has released the official cover art for the LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes video game.
Looks pretty cool. I can't wait to see some trailers for this.

LEGO Avengers Poster

This is an excellent rendition of the Avengers movie poster. Probably one of my favorite movie poster renditions in bricks.

Nottingham Wall by Paul Vermeesch

This may be on MOCpages, but it is actually an amazing brickfilm! This is what I call a very good short film with some great animation!

Made by Paul Vermeesch, with the music by Max Pointner.

See it on Mocpages.

The Romans Stole My Homework by LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist

This MOC is just one scene from a hilarious story made by LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist on Mocpages.
I definitely advise checking it out.

See it on Mocpages.

The Grey Havens by Infomaniac --

This scene by Infomaniac is very impressive, and there is some great forced perspective work done here!
Just looking at it makes me want to watch The Lord Of The Rings again.

See it on Mocpages.

Series 7 Review on Eurobricks

Those of you that frequently check Eurobricks have probably noticed that Whitefang has done excellent reviews on all the Collectible Minifigures.
Well, he has done it again! This time you can see the entire Series 7 in another masterful review.

Head over to Eurobricks, or see it here.
